My Story

In 1972, I changed my direction in life and started a career in motion picture production and later in television production. No matter what set I was on large or small, I always carried a still camera. I always knew that my Nikon was not fare behind. And, oh yes, I am the one on the far left.I have always found myself drawn to the world around me through the lens of a camera. At a young age, I discovered my passion for photography, a medium that allows me to capture fleeting moments and transform them into lasting memories. Growing up in a small town, I often wandered the outdoors, using my camera to document the changing seasons, local wildlife, and the everyday life of my community. These early experiences instilled in me a deep appreciation for the beauty and complexity of the world.

After high school, I pursued a degree in photography, honing my technical skills and developing my artistic vision. My education provided me with a solid foundation in both traditional and contemporary techniques, but it was my hands-on experience that truly shaped my style. I began to specialize in portrait photography, drawn to the stories that each individual carries. Each session feels like an opportunity to connect with people, to explore their personalities, and to translate their essence into a visual narrative.

As my portfolio grew, so did my desire to capture not just faces, but also the emotions and experiences that define us as humans. I ventured into event photography, working at weddings and family gatherings, where I learned to navigate the unpredictability of life and the significance of timing. Every click of the shutter became a testament to a story unfolding in real time, a blend of candid moments and purposeful compositions.

Through my work, I have traveled to different places, each with its unique culture and landscape, further broadening my perspective. These experiences have taught me to appreciate diversity and the myriad ways people express themselves. I strive to create an inclusive space in my photography, welcoming individuals from all backgrounds and allowing their uniqueness to shine through in my work.

Today, I continue to refine my craft while embracing new challenges. I am constantly inspired by the ever-evolving nature of photography, whether exploring new techniques or experimenting with different styles. My journey is an ongoing exploration of not just what I can create, but also how I can connect with others through the art of visual storytelling. Each photograph remains a reflection of shared moments and the bonds that tie us together, reminding me of the beauty inherent in our lives.

It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.
